    CRYSTAL

This Estonian crystal bowl was awarded to an individual for a third place showing at a 1937 Holland - Estonian agricultural exhibition.  This heavy bowl has a substantially engraved silver rim, and a solid silver handle.  This bowl is quite heavy for its size because it’s made of thick crystal and solid silver rim.

   RUSSIAN CRYSTAL VODKA GLASSES

During my frequent business trips to the republics of the former USSR, I managed to buy several sets of fine Russian cut crystal vodka glasses.   These are very deeply and finely cut crystal.  I don’t know what period of Russian history they are from - probably from the Tsarist era.
