NKVD fireman’s badge. The fire department at that time was under the NKVD, the Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs. This badge comes in two variations: silver and bronze. The substantial badge above is made of silver and is quite rare. The badge is in excellent condition.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR ASSISTANCE TO REVOLUTIONARY FIGHTERS
This badge was awarded to those who worked to promote revolutions to free the “enslaved” peoples of the world from colonial oppressors. These badges are known as the “МОПР” (MOPR) badges. This acronym in Russian stands for International Organization for Assistance Revolutionary Fighters. The above badge is the most expensive of the series and is in excellent condition.

FOR EXCURSION TO THE ISLAND OF WRANGEL
This rare badge was awarded to those who participated in the 1924 excursion to the arctic island of Wrangel. This exquisite silver and gold badge is an example of the outstanding craftsmanship of the Soviet artists of the period. This badge is in excellent condition and very rare because few were issued.

Public Education Commissariat of Georgian SSR badge for “Outstanding Student”. The badge number is # 314 and it was issued April 17, 1946, to a female student. This gold and silver award comes with a certificate both in Russian and Georgian. This substantial badge was issued at the time of Stalin’s greatest stature in the USSR, after having defeated the invading Germans.
